- Air-Source Heat Pump Rebate

When you work with one of Tacoma Power’s participating contractors to install a high-efficiency heat pump system, you may qualify for up to a $1,250 rebate toward the cost of the system. - Ductless Heat Pump Rebate

You can get an $800 rebate or a seven-year, zero-interest loan toward the cost of a ductless heat pump and basic installation. Income-qualified customers may be eligible for a grant that pays for the whole thing. - Weatherization Program

Offers rebates and zero-interest loans to help you pay for installing new energy-efficient windows and insulation and having your ducts sealed. You can get up to $3,450 when you insulate your ceilings, floors and walls and seal your heating air ducts. You can also get up to $1,000 when you replace your inefficient windows. Any remaining cost can be financed with a seven-year, zero-interest loan. Income-qualified customers are eligible for a grant that typically covers the entire cost of new windows and insulation. - Heating Assistance

PSE provides natural gas service to parts of King (not Enumclaw), Kittitas (not Ellensburg), Lewis, Pierce (not Buckley), Snohomish, and Thurston counties. PSE also provides electric service to all of Island, Skagit, Thurston, and Whatcom counties; parts of Jefferson, King (not Seattle), Kitsap, Kittitas, and Pierce (not Tacoma) counties.

Provides repair services to address emergency health and safety issues in the home. A maximum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) is available for repair assistance to eligible households. Our housing team provides assistance to clients through all stages of rehabilitation.
- Pierce County HOME Rehabilitation Program

Provides federally funded loans of up to $60,000 for low-income homeowners in Pierce County to improve their housing conditions. The focus of this program is on rehabilitation, not remodeling of the home. Health and safety issues are addressed first. Homeowners who have received notice from the Tacoma/Pierce County Health Department that their septic or water supply system is not in compliance with County regulations may be eligible for assistance through this program. Our housing team provides assistance to clients through all stages of rehabilitation.
