Whether you're buying a new home, remodeling or just trying to reduce your monthly energy bills, PSE might be able to help with various money-saving offers on energy-efficient products and services.


PSE natural gas customers:

PSE provides natural gas service to parts of King (not Enumclaw), Kittitas (not Ellensburg), Lewis, Pierce (not Buckley), Snohomish, and Thurston counties.


PSE electric customers:

PSE also provides electric service to all of Island, Skagit, Thurston, and Whatcom counties; parts of Jefferson, King (not Seattle), Kitsap, Kittitas, and Pierce (not Tacoma) counties.

  • Energy-use evaluation
    • HomePrint™ home performance evaluation: FREE
  • Insulation
    • Attic insulation (R-11 to R-49): 50 percent of the cost, up to $400
    • Attic insulation (R-19 to R-49): 50 percent of the cost, up to $200
    • Duct insulation and sealing: 50 percent of the cost, up to $500
    • Floor insulation: 50 percent of the cost, up to $400
    • Wall insulation: 50 percent of the cost, up to $400

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program

LIHEAP stands for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. LIHEAP is a federally funded block grant that provides money to help low-income households make home heating more affordable and avoid shutoff of utility services during the winter.


USDA Rural Housing Repair and Rehabilitation Loans and Grants

The Very Low-Income Housing Repair program provides loans and grants to very low-income homeowners to repair, improve, or modernize their dwellings or to remove health and safety hazards. USDA offers either a loan OR a grant through this program – depending on a person’s eligibility. Click here for details and how to apply in Washington state.
