The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency is addressing diesel emissions by developing partnerships with other agencies that focus on reducing diesel pollution, administering incentive programs and projects that employ diesel emission reduction technologies, and supporting fleets to understand and implement policies that encourage cleaner, low-carbon solutions.
By partnering with other agencies in developing emission reduction strategies and action plans, we can help coordinate regional efforts to reduce diesel pollution.
Projects and Programs
Through best practices training and grant incentive programs, we can help reduce unnecessary diesel emissions and replace older, dirty engines with cleaner solutions.
We can help inform policies, such as the Clean Fuel Standard and the Zero-Emission Vehicle Mandate, that help reduce communities’ exposure to diesel pollution.
