[ARCHIVED] Draft Air Operating Permit for Public Comment - Carlisle Construction Materials

Puget Sound Clean Air Agency (the Agency) is seeking comments on a draft Air Operating Permit for Carlisle Construction Materials, LLC, located at 19727 57th Ave E in Puyallup.  This is the initial Air Operating Permit and is being issued pursuant to WAC 173-401. The facility manufactures foam construction materials and emits regulated air pollutants during the production of these construction materials.

PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION

The Agency has completed a review of the company’s application, has developed a draft Air Operating Permit and has made a preliminary determination that the draft meets all the requirements of WAC 173-401 and qualifies for approval.

PUBLIC COMMENT

The public comment period begins on March 9, 2021 and ends on April 7, 2021. The draft Air Operating Permit, the Statement of Basis and all supporting materials are available for review below.

Please send written requests for a hearing relating to this permit action to Carole Cenci (contact information above). The request must be made by April 7, 2021, and indicate the interest of the entity making the request and why a hearing is warranted.

Written comments and hearing requests will be accepted until the end of the last day of the public comment period, April 7, 2021. All comments received during the comment period will become part of the public record. Once the Agency has reviewed comments from the public, held a public hearing if applicable, responded to the comments, and revised the Operating Permit as needed to reflect comments received, it will proceed to the next step of issuance.
